Buddy Training!

Welcome to the Move On Up Buddy Training!
Being a Buddy is all about being a friend to someone new. The Buddy Training will help individuals feel confident to be a friend to someone new in their group or class. In the training, trainees will think about what they would do in different situations, do a range of creative activities about being a Buddy and learn about the support they will have as a Buddy.
The Buddy Training is part of Move On Up, our National Lottery Community Fund project aiming to support young learning-disabled people to feel empowered as they transition into adult community services.
The Buddy Training videos are part of a training pack which is available for free for organisations who work with learning-disabled people, and for a small cost for other organisations and education institutions. To receive the full Buddy Training pack, which includes a printable activity booklet and access to personalised Buddy certificates, please contact Hannah, Projects Manager: hannah@purplepatcharts.org / 07547 401776
