Fran leads the fabulous team at Purple Patch and oversees the running and development of the Company, which includes coming up with new projects, securing funding, building relationships with partners, delivering training, and as many spreadsheets as she can possibly fit into a day.

Fran is an experienced arts practitioner with a master’s degree in Maths and a degree in Graphic Arts and Design. She joined the organisation in 2012 as a support worker and has gained experience in every role within it, giving her a unique perspective on the positives and challenges faced by our passionate, talented and dedicated staff team. She is a firm believer that Purple Patch Arts is built on its people, and places staff wellbeing alongside participant satisfaction at the top of her list of priorities.

In her spare time she sings with the Leeds Philharmonic Chorus and has a passion for gardening, especially if she can eat what she’s grown!
