Support Us
As a small charity, we need your support to help us deliver our life enhancing work. Every year, we have to raise over £100,000 – any donation you make can have a huge impact.
We have 15 years’ experience pioneering inclusive and creative learning opportunities for learning-disabled people in Yorkshire. Your support can help us go further and reach more people with our innovative work.
There are a number of ways you can support us, and we’re very grateful for anything that you can offer. Click on the buttons below to find out more:
Donate
Whether it’s a one-off donation, sponsoring a bursary, donating resources (our participants get through a LOT of tea!) or donating whilst you shop without it costing you a penny, there are loads of ways you can support our work through donation.
Fundraise
Fancy hosting a purple fundraising event? Visit our fundraising page for event ideas, what your money could go towards, and how to receive a Purple Fundraising Pack.
Other ways to support us
Other ways you can support us can be big, like making us your organisation’s Charity of the Year, or small, like sending a Purple Patch charity card. Whatever you do, we want to thank you for helping us to make the world a bit more purple.
Where Your Money Goes
When you donate to Purple Patch Arts, you help us to create magic!
By raising money for us, you can improve the lives of learning-disabled people by supporting them to access our joyful and innovative learning opportunities, which expands their understanding of, and engagement with the world. Every donation made helps to increase our stability as an organisation, allowing us to continue delivering our Lifelong Learning Programmes and developing new, exciting projects that respond to identified needs within the community we serve.
Your donation could help us to cover venue hire costs, multi-sensory equipment and creative resources costs, staff costs, participant bursaries, and much more:
could provide a height adjustable table for a wheelchair user in one of our Lifelong Learning Programmes, enabling them to increase their participation in art and literature activities.
could help provide a Lifelong Learning Programme with sketchbooks for a year, providing participants with a record of their creativity and achievements to reflect on and share with their support networks.
could fund 1 hour of inclusive multi-sensory workshops for up to 15 Lifelong Learning participants, giving them the chance to learn about new topics through exciting and engaging activities.
could help provide a pack of 6 sensory tactile light balls for a Lifelong Learning Programme, supporting our specialist staff to provide innovative and inclusive experiences that all participants can engage with.
could help supply a Lifelong Learning Programme with an iPad, enabling our participants to access videos, internet resources and interactive apps, which enhance their learning experience.
could fund a day of inclusive, multi-sensory workshops for up to 15 Lifelong Learning Participants, delivered by 3 specialist staff members trained in creating environments where every participant thrives.
