Megan oversees all outreach and marketing at Purple Patch Arts, this involves her connecting with schools, colleges, organisations, families and social workers across Yorkshire to share our work and support people to get involved. You might meet her when she’s running taster sessions, attending meetings, and tabling at events all across Yorkshire.
Before joining Purple Patch in 2022, Megan worked as part of University of the Arts London’s Academic Support team, and as a Studio Support Artist at Rocket Artists in Brighton.
Megan has an MA in Inclusive Art Practice from University of Brighton, a PgCert in Academic Practice in Art and Design and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts. As an Artist, Megan has exhibited nationally and internationally and has ran creative workshops at Tate Modern.
Like Purple Patch, Megan believes everyone should have opportunities to learn throughout their life and she is passionate about working in roles that support people to do this, as well as continuing to learn herself.
Outside of work Megan loves making artworks with clay. She also gets great joy from collecting and making badges, reading fiction, and watering her houseplants.
