Jessica started out as Project Coordinator, before moving into the programmes team, later becoming the Programmes Manager and now the CEO. Since 2017 she has lived and breathed Purple Patch, and has a deep understanding of the needs of our participants and their families and carers.
Jessica trained as a professional designer and embroiderer at the Royal School of Needlework- she has taught embroidery all over the world, worked on commissions including pieces for the Royal family and is a published author. She has her own business, House of Heyday, and does commissioned work, teaches embroidery and art for wellbeing, and delivers talks and presentations.
Outside of work much of Jessica’s time is spent taking care of her little daughter Lyra, going for lots of walks and spending time with family and friends. Whenever she has a spare moment she loves to read, draw and do embroidery.
