Jessica is responsible for the day-to-day management of our Lifelong Learning Programmes. She keeps everything running smoothly, writes the scheme of work for the year, and supports the staff in the programmes in doing the amazing jobs they do.
Jessica trained as a professional designer and embroiderer at the Royal School of Needlework- she has taught embroidery all over the world, worked on commissions including pieces for the Royal family and is a published author.
Jessica has spent her career helping people through the arts. She believes in the power of creativity to support wellbeing, mental health, peace, learning and growth. She joined Purple Patch in 2017 and worked on projects before moving into Programmes.
Outside of work much of Jessica’s time is spent taking care of her little daughter Lyra, going for lots of walks and spending time with family and friends. Whenever she has a spare moment she loves to read, draw and do embroidery.
