Lol has worked as an Education Mental Health Practitioner for the past 4 years, where she supports children and young people with their emotional wellbeing. This might be by working directly with young people and their families, or through workshops that she delivers in education settings across Leeds. The best part of the role is supporting children to build strategies to overcome emotional wellbeing challenges and working creatively with children to improve their wellbeing.

Lol studied theatre at university and spent many years working in community arts. Lol worked on many projects with different communities where people could connect and share their stories through performance. Lol was previously a programmes facilitator on our lifelong learning programme in Horsforth and loved seeing her participants sing, dance, act and make art. She lives in south Leeds and loves going for walks, teaching her weekly Zumba class and enjoys going to music gigs in her spare time.’
