Róisín works with Hannah to plan and deliver creative education workshops for our ‘Move On Up‘ transitions project. This project is aimed at providing early support to young people with learning disabilities and autism in Leeds and Bradford leaving school, college and young people’s services, empowering them to transition successfully to adult community services.
Prior to joining Purple Patch in 2021, Róisín has worked in both the education and arts sectors. She has a TEFL qualification, and has worked in schools supporting learning-disabled and autistic children, as well as teaching flute.
Róisín has a degree in Film Production, and has stage-managed and marketed a 5 star theatre show touring the UK. She has also run a sustainable fashion brand selling upcycled, handmade clothing online.
Róisín’s work at Purple Patch allows her to combine all her skills to create excitement when delivering creative, accessible learning experiences.
She loves to play the flute and ukulele and sew her own clothes. She also enjoys reading mystery novels and is a big fan of musicals, particularly Hamilton!
